Since we are located on a very busy street, we require that all cats entering or exiting this practice must be contained in a pet carrier, pillowcase or a leash and harness. A cat wrapped in a blanket or towel can easily slip out of your arms. Injury to the cat or a person can be avoided by proper restraint.
Ultrasonography is an advanced imaging technique that uses soundwaves to provide a real-time, moving image of your pet's internal organs. This procedure is especially useful when examining conditions in your pet's abdomen and heart. Ultrasounds are also effective at detecting tumors and foreign bodies in your pet's abdominal cavity and diagnosing heart disease. Dr. Oscar Ramirez, a board-certified veterinary radiologist, travels to perform ultrasound procedures at our clinic on scheduled days.
