A native Houstonian, Rosie has been a member of the Cat Vet Clinic team since 2009. She spent five years living in Kansas City where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography and creative writing. As the Clinic Coordinator of CVC, Rosie is responsible for maintaining the constant evolution of the clinic, as well as organizing and encouraging the staff to grow; both as professionals and individuals. She spends her free time reading, cycling, and is a bon vivant for craft beers and robust coffees. Rosie has two dogs, Dory and McClane, and three cats, Cotton, Skip, and Riliey.
Tami V., LVT
Tami is originally from Round Rock, TX and graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2009. Tami shares her home with her two FIV positive cats: Louie and Maxwell, and her trouble-maker cat: Mamba. In her spare time, Tami enjoys reading, snorkeling, and traveling as much as possible (especially on cruises). She has also participated in several 5K runs with fellow co-workers and looks forward to doing more!
Jennifer A., LVT
Jennifer earned her Certified Veterinarian Technician status in 2009 at the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado. Upon moving to Texas, she completed her certification for LVT status in 2014. Jennifer is a lover of all wildlife and domestic animals. She has a great interest in conservation efforts and shares those with her son. In her off-time, Jennifer enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her family. She owns a rescue cat named "D" who keeps the house lively with her amusing personality.
Ruth originates from Hustletown, TX and has been with CVC for four years. She is a proud Sea Aggie of Texas A&M Galveston as a Marine Biology major. Ruth loves going to baseball games (or any Houston sporting events), baking sweet treats, and cooking authentic Mexican food. She is mom to Romi, a border collie mix; and Oliver, a handsome grey tabby foster-fail.
Kellie has been in the veterinary field since 2000 and completed a Veterinary Paramedic program through HCC in 2005. She joined the CVC team in 2008 and has been an integral part of the growth and development of the clinic. She spends her free time in performing arts and cosutme design. She also practices archery and cycling. Kellie shares her home with her three dogs: Merida, Izzy, and Norman, and her two cats: Deadlie Nedlie and Joxer.
Christie M., LVT
Christie graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2014. She has been part of the CVC family for five years. Her previously work at an emergency veterinary hospital makes her experience a great asset for our busy clinic. When not working, Christie spends time hanging out with her two cats: Bobby and Dexter, and two dogs: Zoey and Murray. She also enjoys trying out new, healthy recipes, and attending live shows with her boyfriend.
Alex previously worked at Friends for Life as an animal care specialist. While there, she realized she enjoyed educating clients about their feline friends and decided to develop her passion at our clinic. She has been with us for two years, and works closely with our fosters and bottle-fed kittens. Alex has six cats of her own and loves spending her down time with them. She also enjoys playing sports and spending time at local events in the Heights.
Cristina joined our team in 2010 and works as a technician. She is kept busy by her young son, her three cats: Buba, Oliver, and Daisy, and two dogs: Marley and Chachis. When not at the Cat Vet Clinic, she's often spending time with family and friends, watching the Cooking Network, listening to country music, or reading.
Heidi S., LVT
Heidi has been a member of the Cat Vet Clinic team since 2014. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2009. She is currently studying feline behavior through the International Society of Feline Medicine's advanced behavioural certification program. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, creative writing and drawing, and occasionally gaming with friends and family online. Heidi shares her home with her four cats: Dimitri, Max, Bones, and Honey.
Christina is from Bay City, TX and a recent graduate of the Vet Tech Institute of Houston. She completed her externship at the CVC and is now one of our vet assistants. She is currently working her way up to becoming an LVT. Christina is owned by her three cats: Pumpkin, Turbo, and Diana. When she has the time, Christina enjoys improving her art skills and developing new pieces with water colors, pencils, and charcoal.
Miranda joined the CVC team in 2018 and is excited to assist in your cat's healthcare. She is a Molecular Biology major and competitive powerlifter. When she is not manning the front desk, she can be found working on research projects for school, training for competitions in the gym, or at home with her dog: Sadie, the newfie/lab mix.
