Our Current Adoptees

Pumpkin

Approximate Age: 10Y

DSH - Spayed Female -Tuxedo

Pumpkin was surrendered by her owners for weight-related medical issues. Luckily, Loving Arms Rescue saved her from euthanasia and brought her to us. Down nearly seven pounds since when she first came to us, Pumpkin is active and very loving. She adores head rubs and will gently remind you of your petting duties by tapping you with her paw. Her charming and loving nature has made her a clinic favorite! However, what Pumpkin truly needs is a forever home; one that will give this sweet and tender kitty all the love she deserves.

Molly

Approximate Age: 6M

DSH - Spayed Female - Grey/White

At the end of a busy day, two technicians spotted me behind the clinic. I was so small and all alone, and the night was so very cold. The people fed me and kept me cozy in my new home, so it wasn't too bad. They say I am very shy, but I'd prefer to be asked for permission before petting me. I do not like very loud noises or very quick movements, but I do love chin scratches and soft petting. I get along with other kitties that like to run and play like me, but I need time to adjust to new people. Ask about how you can spend more time with me.

Isabella

Approximate Age: 6M

DSH - Spayed Female/One Eye - Tuxedo

I never knew love until a kind stranger saved me. She witnessed my frail body being thrown from a vehicle, then rushed to my aid and brought me to CVC. The trauma to my right eye was irreparable. .. which is why I only have one eye now, that's okay though I can still see the beauty in this world. I love to be loved. I love to be held. Ask about my sweet disposition and how to adopt me.

About Our Adoptions

The Rescue Program is a voluntary program funded by the Cat Vet Clinic.

We are very proud to facilitate a rescue program that places homeless cats with forever families. We invest a lot of time, energy and love in raising these cats. Thus, we strive to place them in homes where they will receive excellent care and love.

If you are interested in adopting one of our cats please fill out the adoption application found on the Forms page or pick up an application at the front desk at the Cat Vet Clinic. We give preference to established clients, but if you have never been to the Cat Vet Clinic we still encourage you to submit an application. On a case by case basis we are happy to place our rescue cats with non-clients.

Potential adopters take cats on a two week trial run. At pick up we will go over the recommended integration procedures, nutritional needs, and any questions you may have. If there is any issue at all with the cat they must be returned to us. After the trial run, new owners must sign an adoption agreement.

Adoption Agreement

You can find the adoption agreement on our Forms page. This agreement states that you will take full financial responsibility of your new cat, will not declaw, and will provide proof of spay or neuter if done outside of the Cat Vet Clinic.

The suggested adoption donation is $75.00. This goes towards the cat's initial testing and vaccines.
